Warehouse Slotting Data Report (SKU & Co-Purchase)

Build a ShopifyQL report analyzing order line-item co-purchase frequency and per-SKU order volume over a time period, to inform warehouse slotting decisions.

📋 Prompt
Run in Sidekick
Build a ShopifyQL report analyzing my order data so I can decide how to slot SKUs in my warehouse. I stock [NUMBER_OF_SKUS] SKUs and fulfill roughly [ORDERS_PER_DAY] orders per day.

Report 1 — SKU order frequency:

For the period [DATE_RANGE], rank all SKUs by number of orders they appeared in (and total units sold).
Show the top [TOP_PERCENT]% of SKUs by order frequency — these are the highest-priority candidates for easy-access pick locations.

Report 2 — co-purchase frequency:

For the same period, identify which product pairs (or SKU pairs) most frequently appear together in the same order line items.
Rank the top pairs by co-occurrence count, so I know which SKUs should physically sit near each other to shorten pick paths.

Before running:

Confirm the date range and whether to scope to all products or a specific collection/tag.
Show me the ShopifyQL query you’ll run for each report.

After running:

Return both reports as data (SKU, order count, units — and product pair, co-occurrence count).
Call out the top [SPOT_CHECK_COUNT] SKUs and top pairs so I can map them to bin locations myself.

Note: the actual physical zone layout, bin numbering, and pick-path design stay a manual decision for me — Sidekick’s job here is producing the order-frequency and co-purchase data, not the warehouse floor plan.
