Generate the Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS for a review highlights section that I can paste into my theme as a custom section, with these features:

Summary Bar:

  Overall average rating (large star display)
  Total number of reviews count
  Rating distribution bar chart (5-star to 1-star breakdown)
  Percentage of customers who recommend the product


Individual Review Cards:

  Reviewer name with verified buyer badge
  Star rating
  Review title and body text
  Date posted
  Helpful vote count with thumbs up/down buttons

Filtering and Sorting:

  Filter by star rating (clickable stars in distribution chart)
  Sort by: most recent, highest rated, most helpful
  Search within reviews by keyword
  Filter by verified buyers only


Design Settings:

To use it: go to Online Store > Themes > Edit code, create sections/review-highlights.liquid and paste in the generated code (put JS/CSS in assets/ and link them from the section file), then open the theme customizer and add the “Review Highlights” section to your product page or wherever you want it displayed.

How to Use

  1. Copy the prompt above
  2. Open Shopify Sidekick in your Shopify admin
  3. Paste the prompt and replace the bracketed placeholders with your details
  4. Review Sidekick's response and apply the suggestions
