On-Demand Sales Snapshot & High-Value Order Alerts

Give me an on-demand sales snapshot for my Shopify store, then set up one Shopify Flow automation to flag high-value orders as they come in.

Store context:

  Store URL: [YOUR_STORE_URL]
  Average daily orders: [DAILY_ORDERS, e.g., 25]
  Average daily revenue: [DAILY_REVENUE, e.g., $2000]
  High-value order threshold: [HIGH_VALUE_THRESHOLD, e.g., $500]

Part 1 — Sales snapshot (run anytime via ShopifyQL; save as a Sidekick skill to re-run on demand):

  Total revenue and order count today, compared to the same day last week
  Average order value today vs the trailing 30-day average
  Revenue broken down by hour for today
  Top 5 products by revenue today
  Any orders today more than 2x my typical order value


Part 2 — Shopify Flow: high-value order alert
Build a Flow with:

  Trigger: Order created
  Condition: Order total is greater than [HIGH_VALUE_THRESHOLD]
  Actions: add the tag “high-value” to the order, and send an internal email notification to [NOTIFY_EMAIL] with the order number, customer name, and total


Note: Sidekick can’t run a persistent live dashboard, push mobile/SMS alerts, or connect third-party monitoring tools (Triple Whale, custom webhooks) — it answers in a single response and automations run per-order, not continuously. For a running dashboard, save Part 1 as a Sidekick skill and re-run it manually, or use Shopify’s native Analytics Live View.
