Sidekick: Customize Theme Sections and Layout

Make this one change to my Shopify store’s theme ([THEME NAME]):

Element to change: [ELEMENT — e.g. “the background color of my Hero section”, “the announcement bar text”, “the button color on the Featured Collection section”]

Change requested: [CHANGE — e.g. “change it to #1A2B3C”, “update the text to ‘FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $75’”, “change the CTA button to my brand’s secondary color”]

Before applying:

  Find the exact section/block in my current theme that controls [ELEMENT].
  Show me a preview of the change (before vs. after) and confirm it won’t break text readability or contrast.
  Ask for my confirmation before applying.


After I confirm, apply the change:

  Update the section setting for [ELEMENT] to [CHANGE].
  Tell me exactly which section/theme file was edited.
  Remind me to preview the storefront and save/publish the change myself if it’s not auto-published, since theme edits should be checked live before going public.


Keep this to the single element and change described above — don’t touch other sections, layout order, or unrelated styling.
