Implement Customer Data Privacy Compliance

Help me draft privacy documentation for my Shopify store to take to legal review:

Store Context:

  Do you sell to EU customers: [YES/NO]
  Do you sell to California residents: [YES/NO]
  Other regions with privacy laws: [LIST, e.g., Canada PIPEDA, Brazil LGPD, UK GDPR]
  Third-party apps collecting data: [LIST APPS, e.g., Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel]

Sidekick can’t implement consent banners, DSAR workflows, or binding compliance determinations — GDPR/CCPA compliance is a legal sign-off, not something a chat assistant can certify. What it can honestly do is draft text for me to hand to counsel:


  Draft a first-pass privacy policy covering the data I collect, based on the store context above
  Draft a plain-language explanation of what a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) process typically involves, so I know what to ask a lawyer or app vendor about
  Draft “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” footer copy in the style CCPA notices typically use
  List the third-party apps I named above and note, generically, which categories of data each type of app (analytics, ad pixel, ESP) usually collects — for me to verify against each vendor’s actual data processing agreement
  Draft a short internal data-retention note (e.g., “customer records retained for [RETENTION PERIOD]”) as a starting point for my own policy, not a legal requirement
