Birthday and Anniversary Email

Create birthday and anniversary emails for my store:

Create the following emails:


  Birthday Email (sent on or before birthday):
    
      Warm, personal subject line (avoid generic “Happy Birthday” if possible)
      Celebratory opening that feels genuine
      Present the birthday gift or offer clearly
      Include unique discount code with expiration date
      Product recommendations based on their purchase history placeholder

For each email provide subject line, preview text, and body copy.
Include guidance on collecting birthday data without being intrusive.
Suggest the best timing for sends (day-of vs. week-of for birthdays).
Keep tone personal. These should not read like mass marketing blasts.

In addition to the copy, build this in Shopify:

  Create a customer metafield (e.g., namespace/key custom.birthday, type: date) to store each customer’s birthday, populated via the signup form or account page.
  Create a discount code matching the birthday offer above, with an expiration window matching the stated validity period.
  Build a Shopify Flow that runs on a recurring daily schedule, checks the birthday metafield against today’s date, and when it matches, sends the Birthday Email via Shopify Email/Messaging with the discount code attached.
  Build a second Flow (or branch) for the reminder email 3 days before the offer expires.
  For the anniversary email, trigger a Flow off the customer’s first-order date on a yearly recurrence.
