Shipping Insurance App Shortlist & Comparison

Help me shortlist shipping insurance/protection apps for my Shopify store.

  Recommend 3-5 shipping protection apps (e.g., Route, Navidium, Shipsurance-style options) that fit my average order value and budget, with a feature comparison
  Compare their pricing models (percentage of order value vs flat fee) so I can pick before installing
  Explain how carrier-included insurance differs from a third-party protection app, in plain terms
  Flag which of the shortlisted apps let me auto-add coverage above a set order value, so I know what to check for during setup
  List questions to ask each app’s support team about their claims process before I commit
  Draft short, non-anxious customer-facing copy explaining the optional protection add-on, for me to review and place at checkout myself
  Suggest packaging best practices to reduce damage claims regardless of which option I pick


Note: installing the app, wiring up the checkout add-on, and filing carrier/insurer claims are steps I’ll do myself — Sidekick’s role here is research, comparison, and draft copy.
